What will I be responsible for?

Leads the sales development process in identifying and negotiating primarily all new sales opportunities. Supports the sales development in identifying and negotiating new business

What decision/change authority will I have?

Is expected to make contributions to improve part of a current system, standard or process

Who will I work with?

Interacts with internal and external stakeholders, Operations Directors, Operations Managers, Contracts Managers. Ability to build relationships at all levels. Liaises with other departments within the company in order to aid understanding of clients’ expectations, helps in the conversion process of a genuine opportunities, and with the maintenance of a sales focused mentality within the company. Submits reports to line manager as required on activities along with schedule of opportunities expected in the period for senior management

What projects/people will I lead?

Uses resources available to deliver outputs efficiently and on time. Actively participates in any sales objectives as issued. Utilises and maintains client records management systems. Monitors client database to assess client trends and trading patterns which occur within designated area

What technical expertise will I need?

Ability to conduct sales within the business portfolio fully in accordance with the demands of BS EN ISO 9001:2000

What experience will I need?

Demonstrable experience of successful operational liaison and team bid participation

Will I need formal qualifications?

ISO 9000:2001
Proven sales track record
