What will I be responsible for?

Proactively leads a company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones for a one and three year period. Provides all high level numerical and financial modelling on bids and sales issues

What decision/change authority will I have?

Provides clear direction and leadership to the sales and marketing function. Provides accurate and detailed financial modelling on bids and sales issues

Who will I work with?

Manages key internal and external stakeholder relationships – engages senior managers across a number of complex and significant finance/business issues. Drives overall client engagement across projects

What projects/people will I lead?

Responsible for leading sales and marketing teams to ensure that assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company. Responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives

What technical expertise will I need?

Substantial and broad experience in appropriate sales and marketing. Formulating sales and marketing strategies appropriate to the company’s corporate mission and goals. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Numerical and budgeting skills. Negotiation skills

What experience will I need?

Track record of setting sales and marketing strategic direction. Significant external relationship management experience. Business orientated and commercially astute; understands the sector and its clients; in-depth knowledge of group interdependencies

Will I need formal qualifications?

Degree-level education. Minimum 10 years of strategic sales experience in a B2B sales environment. Accountancy qualification for Commercial Director/Bid Modeller
