What will I be responsible for?

Delivers effective HR and specialist services to the business, providing commercial HR solutions. Proactively partners managers at all levels in providing pragmatic and commercially focused solutions that will meet business objectives

What decision/change authority will I have?

Is expected to fine tune the operations of the services/systems in order to maximise performance and ensure effective delivery, eg may reallocate tasks within the team to increase effectiveness. Skilled influencer

Who will I work with?

Develops and maintains positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Works closely with HR teams and wider Group HR community. Works closely with other support services when required. Liaises closely with management. Involvement in and contribution to project work

What projects/people will I lead?

What technical expertise will I need?

Strong leadership skills, greater complexity of HR and training knowledge. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of specialist areas such as pensions, compensation, benefits and awards

What experience will I need?

Experienced HR/training professional in a commercially focused environment. Good commercial awareness. Multi-site experience – experience in partnering with management, thorough knowledge of HR policy, procedure, best practice and legislation

Will I need formal qualifications?

CIPD qualified
Level 3 Foundation Certificate in L&D Practice
Certificate in Recruitment & Selection
For specialist areas would have appropriate qualification such as QPA/PMI
