What will I be responsible for?

Leads, develops and motivates HR teams in delivering HR services for the company to defined service standards, timescales and budgets

What decision/change authority will I have?

Manages senior internal and external relationships which are important for current delivery, ie internally, across the organisation and on Senior Management Boards

Who will I work with?

Management of business HR specialist teams and ancillary administration teams. Liaises closely with Board members, Senior Regional Operations Managers, payroll, QHSE Managers and Heads of HR across the Group

What projects/people will I lead?

Is expected to make recommendations to add or delete resources within their entity to ensure its integrity and typically manages an infrastructure of roles up to and including several team members. ‘Upward looking’ specialist advisors would typically be recognised as experts in their business and primarily call upon personal experience and knowledge to provide a trustworthy and comprehensive service to decision makers

What technical expertise will I need?

Provides recommendations, expert advice and quality decision making across all functions, specifically working with the senior management team to ensure that business operations are fully omptimised. Has a working knowledge of specialist areas such as compensation and benefits

What experience will I need?

Proven track record in delivering major change management initiatives including experience of acquisitions/TUPE transfers. Strong proven knowledge of UK employment law and sound commercial acumen. Proven project management skills and problem solving with the ability to prioritise and multi-task. Proven relationship and consultancy skills at senior business management level. Experience of managing and motivating a team of HR professionals in providing a high quality and responsive service to the business

Will I need formal qualifications?

Degree-level education. Post-qualification experience in more than one area of HR including significant management experience (Fellow member)
