What will I be responsible for?

Act as 'owner' of a location on behalf of Mitie. To supervise the provision of a range of contract services, ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety requirements when carrying out duties avoiding injury to self and others. Takes responsibility for the actions of others, ensuring quality delivery and presentation of services to client colleagues

What decision/change authority will I have?

Is expected to make contributions to improve part of a current system, standard or process. Expected to lead by example by living the One Mitie team philosophy

Who will I work with?

Work alongside a range of Mitie service types, ensuring their high individual performance standards and cooperation at all times. Establish strong relationships with single service (Cleaning, Technical, Catering, etc) supervisors. Also regularly liaise with key client stakeholders to build relationships and ensure clear and rapid communication

What projects/people will I lead?

Helps to develop other members of their team, or act as a specialist within area of work. May deputise for manager as required

What technical expertise will I need?

Requires supervisory skills, ability to use own judgement to deal with non-routine items and act as an escalation point within team, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent eye for detail

What experience will I need?

Prior experience of FM operations. Proven record of excellent client relation management, perhaps within FM, hospitality, or commercial setting. Proven leader and motivator of a diverse team

Will I need formal qualifications?

GCSE level English and Mathematics. Business Writing qualification beneficial. QHSE qualifications beneficial
