What will I be responsible for?

To own all Mitie Service delivery across a site or area. Ensure all services delivered to standard. Ensure client satisfaction through regular interface with key stakeholders. Manage exceptional items, and prevent escalation through timely resolution of issues. Lead all other Mitie services by example, embodying the Mitie values of Inspire, Challenge and Excel. Promote One Mitie ethic of cooperation

What decision/change authority will I have?

Is expected to recruit, lead and develop the team. Expected to seek opportunities to introduce additional Mitie services, or improve exisiting service. Must audit and report according to requirments, and implement improvement plans where required. Required to monitor and maintain a safe working environment and ensure all QHSE practices are followed on site

Who will I work with?

Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to monitor site operations and maintain quality of service to customer. Ability to network with and influence senior people both internally and externally in order to achieve service standards

What projects/people will I lead?

Expected to lead all Mitie services within your area. Expected to manage improvement and innovation projects, and propose new ideas where possible. May manage more junior IFM staff

What technical expertise will I need?

Requires good leadership skills. Requires understanding of complexity of process and financial knowledge to control services and projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

What experience will I need?

Sound experience in managing accounts or services. Good working knowledge of IT. Good planning and prioritising skills to manage a varied and pressurised workload. Diplomatic and persuasive, able to operate alongside a variety of internal and external stakeholders

Will I need formal qualifications?

HNC/HND or BTEC or degree equivalent qualification Literacy and numeracy ability to at least Level 2 (GCSE 'B' equivalent) ILM Level 3 Facilities Management
