Senior FM

What will I be responsible for?

To own all Mitie Service delivery across a site or area. Ensure all services deliver to standard. Ensure client satisfaction through regular interface with senior stakeholders. Lead and manage a team of FMs and other resources. Ensure that all services are run safely and efficiently to the required standard. Support Account objectives and initiatives. Develop and improve services and account profitability through management of teams, services, and projects

What decision/change authority will I have?

Is expected to recruit, lead and develop the team. Expected to seek opportunities to introduce additional Mitie services, or improve existing service. Must audit and report according to requirements, and implement improvement plans where required. Required to monitor and maintain a safe working environment and ensure all QHSE practices are followed on site

Who will I work with?

Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to monitor site operations and maintain quality of service to customer. Ability to network with and influence senior people both internally and externally in order to achieve service standards. Understanding of network of personalities within Mitie Services, ability to influence and manage across seniority levels to achieve account objectives

What projects/people will I lead?

Control resources to achieve quality of service whilst keeping within budget and time constraints. Recruit, lead and develop the team. Manage and assist with account and client projects to the benefit of the account

What technical expertise will I need?

Requires strong leadership skills, greater complexity of process and financial knowledge to control services and projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Requires good working knowledge of account management. Good knowledge of client relationship management techniques and application

What experience will I need?

Sound experience in managing contracts. Good working knowledge of IT . Good planning and prioritising skills to manage a varied and pressurised workload. Diplomatic and persuasive, an excellent communicator. Demonstrated solid business and continuous improvement acumen as well as critical thinking skills

Will I need formal qualifications?

Entry point for graduate or equivalent. HNC/HND or BTEC or degree equivalent qualification Ideally ILM Level 4 Leadership & Management qualification n or similar. Undergraduate Certificate in FM
