Procurement Executive

What will I be responsible for?

Delivers work following standards and guidelines, using proven models or set routines. For example, collates various data and provides standard outputs, provides supporting information for analysis, processes invoices and performs simple reconciliations on account records and is expected to show initiative in dealing with non-routine queries, but with reference to supervisory advice. By Level 2, will be planning, communicating and delivering circumscribed areas of procurement activity but subject to readily available direction. By Level 3, will be managing a processing team

Is expected to make contributions to improve part of a current system, standard or process

Who will I work with?

Interacts with and develops strong relationships with internal colleagues to enhance their knowledge of finance and build their knowledge. Interacts with external stakeholders to effectively manage their accounts

What projects/people will I lead?

Manages team to ensure that resources available are used to effectively deliver the outputs efficiently and on time

What technical expertise will I need?

Strong leadership skills, greater complexity of process and financial knowledge. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

What experience will I need?

Greater complexity of process functionality and depth of specialist technical knowledge; a strong understanding of the primary procurement system
