What will I be responsible for?

Leads, develops and motivates QHSE teams in delivering QHSE services for the company to defined service standards, timescales and budgets. Acts as subject matter expert in all aspects of QHSE queries, policies and processes. Proactively manages and prioritises own caseload, ensuring managers comply with QHSE policies and procedures. Ensures that expert support and information is available

Strategic QHSE lead for regional businesses

Who will I work with?

Operates as a member of the senior team contributing to the formulation and development of strategies and plans and takes accountability for designated projects

What projects/people will I lead?

Is expected to make recommendations to add or delete resources within their entity to ensure its integrity and typically manages an infrastructure of roles up to and including several team members. ‘Upward looking’ specialist advisors would typically be recognised as experts in their business and primarily call upon personal experience and knowledge to provide a trustworthy and comprehensive service to decision makers

What technical expertise will I need?

Demonstrates strong judgement/aptitude, ability to delegate tasks, interpret results and review work of others

What experience will I need?

Experienced in supporting management teams, operating at senior level. Excellent presentation and communication skills, thorough knowledge of QHSE policy and procedure, legislation and best practice. Experience of developing QHSE as a function and supporting the development of others

Will I need formal qualifications?

CMIOSH status
NEBOSH Diploma or above
Professional Trainer qualifications
